Both parties signed the final documents last week, and sealed documents were filed with the Travis County, TX clerk’s office.

Jennifer Lopez NOT Being Paid $2 Million For Wedding

Jennifer Lopez NOT Being Paid $2 Million For Wedding

In Touch claims that Jennifer Lopez recently was paid an estimated $2 million to perform at a wedding in France and Monaco but according to a rep for Lopez this is NOT true.

As reported by Gossip Cop:

J. Lo’s the $2 million wedding singer,” reads the headline of a story in In Touch, which goes on to claim Jennifer Lopez “has recently taken the stage at some big-budgeted nuptials – most recently performing in France and Monaco – for an estimated $2 million a gig!”

And while the tab uses the word “recently” twice, unfortunately In Touch has ZERO details about when, precisely where or for whom these supposed high-paying performances took place.

Anyone want to guess why In Touch doesn’t have any details about Lopez being a wedding singer at two marriages?

Yes, you in the back…

Correct.

Because, as a rep for The Wedding Planner star succinctly told Gossip Cop, “It’s not true.”

Beyonce Is NOT Pregnant

Beyonce Is NOT Pregnant

According to Media Takeout, Beyonce is pregnant but a source close to Beyonce says this is NOT true.

As reported by Media Takout:

MediaTakeOut.com just learned from a ROCK SOLID source that legendary singer Beyonce and her hip hop mogul husband Jay Z are expecting their first child together.

According to our source Beyonce is doing fine and resting (for now), but she’s expected to continue working throughout her pregnancy. And we’re also told that Jay Z is EXTREMELY happy to be having his first child with Bey.

According to Gossip Cop:

When it comes to pregnancies, MediaTakeOut.com has been really wrong, with incredible frequency.

It’s also been wrong about Beyonce and husband Jay-Z in general.

So it makes sense that today the site is wrong about everything in one bogus item!

“MTO EXCLUSIVE: Beyonce’s PREGNANT!!!” blares the headline.

Oh, baby.

“MediaTakeOut.com just learned from a ROCK SOLID source that legendary singer Beyonce and her hip hop mogul husband Jay Z are expecting their first child together,” shouts the sloppy site.

No, they aren’t.

“Media Fake Out,” as it’s known, says of Beyonce’s supposed pregnancy, “It’s been a long time waiting… but now it’s finally happened.”

No, it hasn’t.

“You will probably see other news sources pick up on this in coming days,” continues MediaTakeOut, “But when you do — don’t forget where you saw it first.”

Oh, we won’t.

Because we’re going to call out MediaTakeOut.com by name right now… as being completely wrong.

A source close to Beyonce tells Gossip Cop she is not pregnant.

Given MediaTakeOut’s dreadful track record, we have no reason to think otherwise.

Joaquin Phoenix NOT Playing Edgar Allen Poe

Joaquin Phoenix NOT Playing Edgar Allen Poe

A number of outlets are reporting that Joaquin Phoenix is playing Edgar Allen Poe but according to a rep for Joaquin this is NOT true.

As reported by Gossip Cop:

Is Joaquin Phoenix returning to the big screen after his hip-hop hiatus?

According to Slumdog Millionaire sound designer Resul Pookutty he is — to play Edgar Allen Poe.

Um, what?

Speaking to the Mumbai Mirror about an upcoming project, Pookutty says he’s working on an adaptation of “The Beautiful Cigar Girl” by Daniel Stashower.

“It’s based on an eerie real-life experience by author Edgar Allen Poe which happened just months before his death,” Pookutty explains. “Joaquin plays Edgar Allen Poe.”

The story was, naturally, picked up everywhere.

And it’s complete nonsense.

Gossip Cop asked a rep for Phoenix whether the actor was coming back to play Poe.

“No.”

Rule of thumb: Steer clear of Joaquin Phoenix rumors started by Resul Pookutty.

Jay Leno Has NOT Signed A New Tonight Show Deal

Jay Leno Has NOT Signed A New Tonight Show Deal

The rumor is spreading that Jay Leno has signed a new contract that makes him the host of The Tonight Show but according to Jay’s rep this is NOT true.

According to Gossip Cop:

High-level people are spreading rumors that Jay Leno has signed a new contract that makes him host of “The Tonight Show.”

HOWEVER, Leno’s personal publicist tells Gossip Cop, “It is not true.”

We repeat, as of this moment, it is NOT true that Leno has officially signed. They are negotiating, but it’s not final.

Gossip Cop will follow the story as it develops.

Keep in mind: Because of the fluid nature of these NBC negotiations, final word on any Leno contract (or Conan O’Brien resolution) may take a while.

As reported by PopEater:

Thanks to Conan O’Brien’s disappointing transition into the ‘Tonight Show’ chair, I’ve heard NBC has their eyes on replacing him with none other than their golden boy, Jerry Seinfeld. Is a big old change on the horizon for struggling NBC and their late-night lineup? Just what does NBC’s spokesperson say about this?
