The Daily Express reported that Hugh Laurie would consider leaving House to regain full health but according to Hugh’s rep this simply is NOT true but actually hysterical.
According to The Daily Express:
The Brit star plays a grumpy medical genius in the series and the character uses a cane to walk.
But the fake limp has caused Laurie some real problems – and he wouldn’t rule out leaving the show in a bid to regain full health.
He says, “The show might last through to series seven, eight or nine but I don’t know if I will because I’m starting to lose my knees. It’s a lot of hip work. There are things going badly wrong. I need to do yoga.”
According to Gossip Cop:
A slew of other outlets picked up on the story, and blogs burst with outrage that their favorite dour doctor is ready to hang up his stethoscope.
Relax. Take a deep breath. His rep, who was surprised by our questioning, told Gossip Cop it was “not true” and called stories about him now having hip problems – because of the show – “hysterical.”
