Al Pacino NOT To Star As Frank Sinatra

Al Pacino NOT To Star As Frank Sinatra

According to MTV Martin Scorsese would like Al Pacino to play Frank Sinatra and Robert De Niro to play Dean Martin in his upcoming film but according to Scorsese this is totally NOT true.

As reported by MTV:

As MTV Movies managing editor Josh Horowitz put it when I shared this news, “bazonkers.” Martin Scorsese has long had a Frank Sinatra biopic on his docket. True, it’s just one of a torrent of other in-development Scorsese project. But it’s also something that people want to see, so perhaps he’ll be able to squeeze it in between “Hugo Cabret” and “The Irishman.” Hopefully, because he’s now on record as saying that he’d like Al Pacino for the Sinatra role and Robert De Niro for the crooner’s longtime collaborator, Dean Martin. He also said that the plan involves going through “three or four different Sinatras” in order to best capture the singer’s colorful career. This is all hoped-for casting of course, but Scorsese is generally the kind of director who gets what he wants.

According to Gossip Cop:

For close to a year now, a number of top celebrities have been mentioned for the possible lead in Martin Scorsese’s biopic about Frank Sinatra.

Among the names thrown out in the past were Leonardo DiCaprio, Johnny Depp and George Clooney.

But now, according to reports everywhere, including one picked up by MTV, Scorsese is “on record as saying that he’d like Al Pacino for the Sinatra role and Robert De Niro for the crooner’s longtime collaborator, Dean Martin.”

There’s just one problem. And it’s not who to cast as Joey Bishop.

Scorsese never said he wanted to cast Pacino and De Niro.

A rep for the director tells Gossip Cop the Pacino-De Niro report is “totally not true.”

Everyone should just relax, and let Scorsese do it his way.

Madonna Did NOT Spend Weekend With Alex Rodriguez

Madonna Did NOT Spend Weekend With Alex Rodriguez

According to US Weekly, Madonna spent the weekend at Rodriguez’s home in Westchester County, New York, but according to Madonna’s rep this is NOT true.

As reported by Gossip Cop:

The magazine further reports that Madonna and Alex Rodriguez “have kept in touch all along.”

While it’s true the two have remained good friends and in contact, Us Weekly is 100 percent wrong about the weekend stay.

Not only did Madonna’s rep deny it, but a source close to Rodriguez confirmed to Gossip Cop that the mag struck out.

Adam Lambert NOT Appearing On Glee

Adam Lambert NOT Appearing On Glee

According to the National Enquirer Adam Lambert signed for a guest appearance on the Fox TV show Glee but according to Adam this is NOT true.

As reported by the National Enquirer:

Here’s an early warning blip that just showed up on our gaydar: Flamohboyant ADAM LAMBERT just signed for a special guest appearance on Fox TV smash hit “Glee” in April.

Producers made no secret of wanting the “American Idol” icon, and Adam just loved the idea – especially when he learned he’d be playing big-brother mentor to the character Kurt, who’s needing a little help in coming out of the closet.

Adam Lambert tweeted this:

Glee guest star rumor: it’s a rumor. Sorry guys.

Demi Moore NOT To Apppear In Beautiful Life

Demi Moore NOT To Apppear In Beautiful Life

There are all sort of reports like the one from starpulse.com (quoting Britian’s Mail On Sunday) that Demi Moore has taken a role in Ashton Kutcher’s The Beautiful Life but according to her rep this is completely FALSE.

As reported by starpulse.com:

Ashton Kutcher has recruited his number one beauty for his TV series The Beautiful Life – his wife Demi Moore.

The actress has been providing her expertise behind the scenes of the upcoming drama, which her husband Kutcher created and is currently producing. And now she’s being lined up for a role in front of the camera, in a rare small screen venture for the star.

Moore, 46, is set to play an ex-model obsessed with plastic surgery, according to Britain’s Mail on Sunday.

A source tells the newspaper, “Demi has turned down a lot of TV shows over the years, including Ugly Betty. But she completely trusts Ashton. The plan is for her to play a recurring guest role so that she can keep coming back.”

Artie Lange Arrested For DUI

Artie Lange Arrested For DUI

As reported by TMZ, Artie Lange from The Howard Stern Show was arrested on July 10th for suspicion of DUI after getting into a minor car accident.

On the Stern show yesterday, Artie said he blew a 0.0 on his Breathalyzer and passed every test the officer gave him — he said he doesn’t know what part he failed.

Artie said that when he’s able to talk about this, he’s got a lot to say about it. He said it’s going to be a complicated thing.

Update: According to a listener, Artie’s comment was said sarcastically so there is likely not much to this story at all.

Update (July 14th): Artie pleads not guilty to DUI according to TMZ.
