George Clooney and his recent fling, Italian TV presenter Elisabetta Canalis have reportedly split. Are we surprised? Not really. George usually breaks up with his girls after award show season.

George apparently called off his 9-month relationship right after their Oscar appearance in March.

Rumor on the block was that George dumped her because of Elisabetta’s partying ways.

As reported by Gossip Cop:

Through his spokesman, Clooney said, “Once again the story is made up, spread to other outlets and now denied. But don’t let facts get in the way of a good story.”

According to OK! Magazine, George Clooney is buying Loreto island for his girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis but according to Clooney’s rep this is NOT true.

As reported by OK! Magazine:

George Clooney is so enthralled with the Italian model (we’re not jealous, much) he’s done what any man in his loved-up state-of-mind would do – bought her an island complete with a fairytale castle.

The Up in the Air actor purchased Loreto Island on the picturesque Lake Como for his beau, after the couple spotted it while visiting a furniture shop in Pisogne.

George is believed to have hired a local businessman to help complete the sale.

“They just fell in love with the island as soon as they saw it,” one neighbour told the Austrian Times.

According to Star Magazine, Reese Witherspoon and Gerard Butler are having a secret romance but according to a rep for Butler this is NOT true.

“Reese’s friends are giggling about her secretly meeting up with Gerard. She thinks he’s superhot!” a friend of the actress told Star. “Reese is just having a good time with him. They’ve hung out a few times, mostly at his place in L.A.”

The two showed an interest in each other after producers at New Line Cinema approached them a few months ago to read scripts together for a new movie. “New Line thought Reese and Gerard would make a hot on-screen couple,” said the friend.

“They got very chatty while reading the scripts, and there was noticeable chemistry. After that reading, they started talking and hanging out.”

According to TMZ:

On TMZ TV — the day Simon announced he was leaving — we floated Elton John as the guy who should take Simon’s seat. After all, he knows music, he’s certainly got the bitchy attitude, and he’s British.

Now an “American Idol” spy tells us the talk on the set is … Elton John!

Eddie Cibrian is going to sue Life & Style Magazine for stories claiming that he has been cheating on his wife LeAnn Rimes with Scheana Marie Jancan.

Here is the statement issued by Cibrian’s rep:

Unfortunately Life & Style Magazine has chosen to go out with a story filled with inaccuracies and deceitful lies, presumably to titillate sales, but clearly resulting in harm to Eddie Cibrian and others. This is irresponsible and reckless journalism. Eddie has met with his attorneys and will be filing a suit for libel and other actionable grounds shortly. It’s a shame that Life & Style resorted to a story of this nature and they will regretfully now have to face scrutiny of untruthful reporting in a court proceeding.

The Mirror reports that Lindsay Lohan was flirting with Gerard Butler and eventually left with him one evening in Morocco but according to Lindsay it is NOT true. Also, according to Gerard’s rep it is completely NOT true and they are taking action against the claims.

The Daily Express reported that Hugh Laurie would consider leaving House to regain full health but according to Hugh’s rep this simply is NOT true but actually hysterical.

According to The Daily Express:

The Brit star plays a grumpy medical genius in the series and the character uses a cane to walk.

But the fake limp has caused Laurie some real problems – and he wouldn’t rule out leaving the show in a bid to regain full health.
